Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

This policy covers shreeramtatva.com and everything on it — the Store, Learn, Programs and the Library. It describes what actually happens to your information on this site, not what is customary to say.

What we collect

When you create an account

There are two ways in, and each gives us different things:

• Signing in with Google gives us your name and email address. Nothing else — not your contacts, not your Google Drive, not your other Google activity.
• Signing in with your phone number gives us your number. We send a one-time code to it and check what you type against a hashed copy held briefly; the code itself is never stored in readable form.

You need one of the two, not both. There is no password on a customer account, so there is no customer password for anyone to steal from us.

When you order something

• A delivery address for physical items — the name, phone number, address and pincode you enter. Digital orders have no address at all, so none is asked for.
• What you bought, when, what it cost, and the status of the order.

While you use the site

• The last page you reached in an ebook, the lessons you have completed, and the days you have marked on a programme — so you can pick up where you stopped.
• Reviews you write, which are tied to the delivered order that earned them.
• A record of every sign-in code we send you, so we can tell you what happened if one does not arrive.

What we do not collect

• Card, UPI and bank details never reach us. Payment happens on Razorpay's side. We store the payment's reference and status, and nothing that could be used to charge you.
• No analytics and no advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script anywhere on this site.
• No location data, no contacts, no device fingerprinting, and no profile built from your browsing to sell to anyone.

Why we hold what we hold

• To take, pack and deliver your order, and to give you a record of it.
• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To reach you about an order — by phone or WhatsApp if something needs sorting out.
• To keep your place in a text, course or programme.
• To keep the books, which tax rules require of any business.

We do not send marketing email or promotional messages to your phone as things stand. If that changes, it will be something you opt into, and this page will say so first.

Who else sees it

• Razorpay, our payment gateway, for the payment itself.
• Our messaging provider, which delivers the one-time sign-in code to your phone over SMS or WhatsApp.
• The delivery service that carries a physical order, which needs the address to bring it to you.
• Us — a small number of staff accounts can see orders and customer records, because somebody has to run the shop.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for advertising. There is no data broker in this list and there will not be one.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. A review stays attached to the order that earned it. Sign-in codes expire within minutes. Everything else is kept while your account exists.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, and we will send it.
• Ask us to correct something that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account. We will, except where an order record has to be kept for tax and accounting — those rows stay, and we will tell you which.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Ebook files are never served from a public path — every page is streamed through a route that checks who is asking, and the stored file location never appears in page source. Admin sessions time out after thirty minutes of inactivity, and sign-in attempts are rate limited.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
